Job Description:

As a key account manager, this individual must have strong training and inside sales skills experience selling into the retail channel. This individual will be responsible for sales activities to key accounts as well as developing and selling to new accounts. This position is located in Cincinnati with 15% travel. 

 

This includes:

·         Prioritizing and pursuing new business along with increasing market share and profitability in existing customer accounts.

·         Managing the day to day sales activities to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and support.

·         Developing in depth customer profiles and organizational details of key accounts.

·         Identifying new opportunities.

·         Maintaining effective communication throughout the organization concerning customer information and challenges.

  • Work with customer service and marketing to streamline client services functions for more effective and efficient execution of services.
  • Coordinate and executive training programs for sales representatives and dealers.
  • Communicate and monitor client expectations to internal teams.
  • Identify and respond to client inquiries/needs via phone and email.
  • Address customer complaints or issues in coordination with respective required disciplines.
  • Travel to dealers, distributors and sales representatives to sell and train as required.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years experience as a key contributor in managing business relationships in existing customer accounts.
  • Must have proven track record of increasing market share while providing great customer service and follow through.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong experience conducting presentations and selling to both new accounts and existing customers.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and constant tracking and updating of day to day activities via the software.
  • Comfort level with technology, including presentation software, webinars, social media, extranets and FTP sites.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
