PROGRAM MANAGER- WANTO

 

The YWCA of Greater Cincinnati is seeking a qualified individual to manage our new program for Women in Apprenticeships and Non-Traditional Occupations (WANTO).  This position will be responsible for building and maintaining a collaborative of community partners that will implement best practices for recruitment, training, placement and retention of women in pre-apprenticeship, apprenticeship and employment in non-traditional careers such as construction, advanced manufacturing, or transportation.

 

Requirements: Minimum of Bachelors degree (or equivalent training and experience) and experience in the construction trades or other non-traditional fields for women.  Knowledge of women’s issues in nontraditional occupations and experience in program development, grant writing, and team leadership is also required. Must have a commitment to the YWCA and its mission of the elimination of racism and empowerment of women.
