Operations Manager

Welcome House of Northern Kentucky is seeking an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager is a full time position working within the Administrative/Development Team. The Operations Manager is responsible for: Human Resources such as oversight of payroll, maintenance of personnel files, generating ongoing reports and other Human Resource duties; maintenance of Board information, Board communication and relations; internal compliance to include administrative , grant and program compliance issues and internal audits; reconciliations within the accounting area; checks and balances for accounting and database systems.

Experience/Education needed: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required; management experience and knowledge of Human Resources with an understanding of employment law; attention to detail critical; the ability to plan and evaluate departmental effectiveness is essential; and knowledge of and/or experience working within a non-profit organization preferred.

Other Skills and Knowledge:

·         Experience creating reports and tracking data

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook

·         Organizational, verbal & written communication skills

·         Ability to collaborate with staff; solid interpersonal skills necessary

·         Ability to read and understand financial statements

·         Prior experience or proficiency with Great Plains and Raiser's Edge software desired
