Network Technician – C-Forward

Small I.T. firm servicing the greater Cincinnati area is seeking a Network Technician.  Successful candidate will perform a variety of routines to moderately complex technical tasks in the installation, operation and maintenance of customer computer equipment and systems.  Responsible for insuring the administration, operation, and maintenance of customer networks and stand-alone systems, providing ongoing computer support by troubleshooting hardware and software problems, installing hardware and software, being the customer contact with service providers, and overseeing the purchase of additional hardware and software systems.  Duties are performed under general to limited supervision.  Skills required include but are not limited to excellent communication, excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, considerable knowledge of Windows driven software, hardware, networks, etc., considerable knowledge of computer systems and office automation/data sharing and computer hardware and software applications, knowledge of local area networks (LANs), ability to troubleshoot routine hardware and software problems.  Graduation from a college or university with an Associates Degree (Bachelors preferred) in Computer Science, or a related field, supplemented by comparable computer experience; or any combination of training and experience which meets the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities.  A+, Network +, and/or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification.  Other certifications a plus.  Send resume with cover letter and salary requirements to:  Human Resources at:  resume@cforward.com.
