CarePoint Partners is a visionary leader and provider of pharmacy and related services for patients in need of home infusion therapy, specialty infusions and specialty injections. The comprehensive care provided to patients is for acute and chronic conditions that necessitate clinical monitoring and oversight by specially trained pharmacists, nurses, and dietitians. Due to high growth, we are excited to add a Network Engineer to our corporate staff. This position will be responsible for * Installing, configuring and maintaining network hardware and related software. * Implementing network and network security including routers, firewalls and proxy servers. * Insuring router and WAN equipment configurations are backed-up on a routine basis. * Implementing and managing primary and backup circuits for each location. * Testing failover to backup circuit for each location and for data center. * Implementing network disaster recovery plan and test on at least an annual basis. * Maintaining accounts on routers and other WAN equipment. * Troubleshooting network and WAN issues to identify their source and implement solutions. * Anticipating communication and networking issues and implementing preventive measures. * Documenting network and client issues as well as resolutions for future reference. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of networking experience or an Associate's degree and five years of networking experience. Cisco certifications are strongly preferred. Ideal candidate has expertise with networking systems including MS Windows networks, experience with network-related hardware and peripheral equipment, and proficiency working with computer and network security systems, applications, procedures and techniques. Candidate should possess excellent communication skills and have experience communicating technical information to non-technical personnel. This position will require travel to various sites of service (approximately 40%) as well as evening and weekend work as network schedule determines.
