HR Executive – Cincinnati OH

I am happy to announce that Satterfield & Associates has been retained to do a search for an experienced and proven human resource executive.   I am the lead consultant for this search. 

The organization that we are conducting this search for is a fast-growing and profitable company headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, with existing and planned locations in several other cities.  The position is the senior HR executive reporting directly to the CEO.  

Candidates must have a minimum of fifteen years working in a human resource or related organization supporting a 1,000 or more employee company, preferably with a large sales organization.  It is expected that a candidate has held progressive HR management roles and has been at a vice president, or senior director level, for at least five years.  The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background of demonstrated HR leadership, having driven HR programs in rapidly developing and changing environments and having functioned as a successful HR leader.  Candidates must have excellent leadership skills and executive presence with the ability to build a strong and high-performance team. They need to be intellectually bright, enthusiastic, and a proactive leader who commands respect.  Exceptional personal presence and influencing skills to build trust-based relationships across the organization is important, as is, superior interpersonal and communication skills, active listener, and quick study.  Candidates must be a good evaluator of talent, be resourceful and well organized, have strong business acumen, and be a change agent.  A high energy level and a passion for superior performance is a must.  Candidates need to have the ability to establish creditability and be decisive, and be able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities.  Candidates must be culturally adaptable and able to apply his/her own knowledge base and expertise to the company situation and culture.
