CLIENT SUMMARY

Our SE Indiana client is a high volume manufacturer and packager of beverages. They have experienced a solid business growth in the past three years. This is in spite of the tough economy.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Quality and R&D Manager, this position will provide leadership and tactical vision to support all plant operations. Emphasis is on analytical and microbiological support to include process improvements and ensuring that the products meet both company and legal specs.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1, Ensure that all products manufactured meet both internal and ]governmental specifications and regulations.

2. Manage the full range of analytical methodologies to include GC, GC-MS, HPLC, traditional wet chemistry and some microbiological support for various required analysis.

3. Provide method development and technical support for product development.

4. Participate in the continuous improvement initiatives.

IDEAL CANDIDATES’ QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

BS Chemistry or other applicable science degree with a strong background in instrumentation and method development. A minimum of 7-10 years in a lab environment and/or Quality function of a food and beverage manufacturing company. Also must have demonstrable problem solving skills along with strong analytical and statistical skills and solid process improvement experience. Any experience with regulatory agencies will be a plus.

The position is an easy 30-45 minute commute from Greater Cincinnati.
